Ralf Schmid to leave MLP’s Executive Board

Wiesloch, 23rd March, 2011 – Ralf Schmid, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the MLP Group and a member of the Executive Board of MLP AG and the subsidiary MLP Finanzdienstleistungen AG, will leave both boards by mutual agreement on 31st March 2011, in order to seek new professional challenges. His duties will be divided among the remaining members of the Executive Board. The Executive Board position will not be refilled.

“Ralf Schmid played a tremendous role in MLP’s organizational and structural growth in recent years and was instrumental in its effort to remain the quality benchmark among independent financial and asset advisers,” said Uwe Schroeder-Wildberg, MLP Chief Executive Officer.

The Executive Board and the Supervisory Board expressed their gratitude for Schmid’s long and successful service to the company. Over the past 20 years, Schmid has worked as a consultant and branch office manager in Saarbrücken, Kaiserslautern and Düsseldorf. In 1999, he joined the Man-agement Board of MLP Finanzdienstleistungen AG at the company’s head-quarters in Wiesloch. He was appointed to the holding company’s Executive Board in 2009.
